This course has it all. We can be wicked mean and have designed this course with every possible element. It’s fast. It’s technical. It’s grueling. It flows. Every attribute is there for the ride of a lifetime. We have built a new technical climb that will have the riders grunting andswearing. There are fast, flowing descents combined with technical drops and rocky outcrops.This 6KM circuit contains both single and double track, but nothing is predictable.

The competitors will fly into the finish line with a gigantic crowd gathered at the Great Lawn infront of the River Run Lodge. It feels like a stadium and you’ll be there to greet the victorious gladiator!

This fast, flat circuit runs on every possible surface at a breakneck speed. We have asphalt, single track, service roads all meshed together to provide an undeniably cool course. The high tempo and changing terrain will demand the best possible team tactics. Flying by the adjacent Expo area will add to the on course spectator involvement. The crowds will be wild and the excitement factor off the charts.

The 1st Annual Ride Sun Valley Mountain Bike Festival showcases the area's 400+ miles of continuous singletrack in an event centered around some of the best race courses in the US. Sun Valley is a bike rider's paradise with over 32 miles of multi-use paved bike paths, two bike parks, and miles of scenic road riding.

This is THE race…..launching from the historic Roundhouse restaurant at the top of Baldy, you will rocket off the start ramp in a time trial start. Immediately there is a quick, gut wrenching uphill. Then, on to one of the fastest, flowing downhill rides ever conceived. The terrain on this 6 KM circuit varies constantly from high alpine to dense forests. The combo of single track with just enough service road to allow for strategic passing, will make for daunting competition. Once again, the finish is on the Great Lawn at the base of Baldy. You will have earned the cheers…and the beers.

Tip: The Sun Valley Resort Gondola will sweep you up the mountain for pre-race runs and unique race viewing points.
